About me

Full-time professional freelance translator and interpreter with both extensive private and public sector experience AND formal academic training in T&I. Providing translations into camera-ready English from Chinese and Spanish, and conference interpreting services (simultaneous and consecutive) between Chinese (Mandarin) and English.

I do NOT offer editing services, nor do I "fix" jobs translated by unqualified translators into languages of which they are not native speakers. Please do yourself and your clients a favor by choosing a qualified translator who is a native speaker of the target language. 

I choose NOT to provide unpaid sample translations or "tests". You are welcome to contract with me for a small-sized job if you have any doubt of my qualifications or product before committing to a larger project.

I use MetaTexis and Trados CAT tools for internal consistency in translations, but since the investment in software and time is mine, the savings are passed on to clients in the form of higher quality, not reduced rates for "matches".

Payment terms: cash, approved company check, bank check or wire transfer in US dollars, net 30 from invoice date.
